Martin County Security Center Staff and Inmate Policies

All inmates at the Martin County Security Center are allotted a maxium of thirty minutes on visitation day. This allotted time can be broken up into two 15 minute visits. Prior arrangements may be made with the Sheriff if a longer period of time may be need for a special circumstance.

Visitation Rules/Regulations:

*A photo ID is required at the time of visit.

*Visitors that are not dressed appropriately will be denied the visit.

*Any minors will need to be in a booth with a parent and/or guardian.

*Visitation is on a first come, first serve basis. There is no visitation between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM for inmate lunch.  

*CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN VISITATION! 

 

Visitation Hours:

Department of Corrections Inmates: Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Martin County Inmates: Sunday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Inmate Mail Correspondence:

Any correspondence should be addressed to the inmate in c/o Martin County Sheriff's Department, P.O. Box 180, Shoals IN, 47581.

Letters and postcards will be allowed. Any other type of mail will need to be approved by the Sheriff or Jail Commander prior to sending. Money sent to an inmate must be in the form of a money order.
